Derby is the highlight of my day, week, month… life! Derby is the smile on my face. Even when having a bad day just the thought of my coaches, team, and derby return a smile to my face! Derby is proof that I can accomplish things I never thought possible. Derby is acceptance even when my inner freak shines through! Derby is love, which is shown greatly when my Mom allows me in the car all stinky and funkalicious! Derby is new friends and family that I’ll carry with me the rest of my life! Derby is my passion. Derby is the pot of gold at the end of my rainbow. Thank you to all my coaches and teammates for being in my pot of gold! Derby is life!
