Skating since: September, 2011
Roller Derby is highlight of my week, after doing gymnastics for six years I thought I would never find another sport I would like. Now I am part of a great team, and I now have a second family. All of my team mates are like sisters to me. Knowing that your friends and family have your back is the greatest feeling in the world, and brings a smile to my face every time I’m in a bout or practice. I love the feeling I get when I am skating around the track with the air hitting my face, and the feeling of being in the pack. I feel like we are unstoppable together as a team. I Am so thankful for my coaches and the adult team for always making me feel welcome, and for helping us develop our skills to further ourselves as Derby players. I just turned sixteen on the sixth of December and I didn’t ask for a car, but I did ask for new skates, this has to say something.
