What derby to me is an escape from my problems. I can make new friends that I can rely on when I need someone. I have always loved rollerskating, ever since I first tried it. Playing mini derby is something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. I never thought I would be able to do something like this! I can go work with other people and build trust and strong friendships. To me, mini derby isn’t always about winning a bout. Sometimes, you can just have fun with it and if you lose, oh well you can try again next time. Mini derby is the best thing that has happened to me and I love it! Its in my life and it always will be.
